Industrial Automation Institute

Industrial Automation Institute (IAI) was established in 2000 as a non-profit educational institution for industrial automation and IT engineers training and professional development. The right to provide educational services is granted by License A#285937 issued by Russian Ministry of Education and Science on December, 29th, 2008.

Nowadays IAI offers certified training courses on:

• Industrial Automation Systems,
• Computer-Aided Design,
• Civil Engineering Software.

IAI runs a wide range of training courses on Siemens industrial automation systems and solutions such as Simatic PCS7, TIA Portal, Step7, WinCC and WinCC flexible. All the courses are carried out in a large well-equipped Training Center. Trainees gain hands-on experience with modern hardware: Simatic S7 controllers, distributed I/O, operator panels and network components along with training models and simulators. On-site trainings at customers’ premises are also available.

Average course duration is three to five days, and an instructor-led classroom setting and hands-on equipment laboratory sessions are well balanced. In order to provide the best instructor-to-student interaction students are divided into groups of two to four. Each student receives a detailed set of training materials.

Having finished the courses attendees get official Siemens certificates.

Theoretical foundations of the courses are supported by teaching staff wide experience in real-life projects design and implementation.
